Welcome to The Reset Guide by The ORGNZRS

Shelves with white, gray, and beige towels neatly folded and stored in baskets and containers, with a potted plant partially visible on the left.

This guide was created as a simple, no-pressure starting point when your space feels overwhelming and you’re not sure where to begin. Start below and move through each section at your own pace for a clear, practical DIY reset.

Begin with these
3 questions

If you answer yes to even one of these,
it might be time for a reset:

Do I feel overwhelmed every time I look at this space?

Do things constantly pile back up no matter how often I clean?

Do I avoid certain areas of my home because they feel like too much?

The Big Idea

You don’t need more storage. You need a reset.

Most people think the fix is buying more bins, more containers, more things to hold the mess. It’s not.
Clutter isn’t a storage problem. It’s a clarity problem.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s creating a space that actually works for you.

Here’s where to start:

White closet with multiple shelves filled with beige and pink high-heeled shoes, next to white blinds.

Step #1

Edit First

Before you organize anything, reduce what’s there.

  • Pull everything out of the space

  • Group like items together

  • Remove anything you don’t use, need, or love

If you skip this step, nothing else will stick.

Step #2

Make It Make Sense

Now that you’ve cleared the excess, decide how your space should function.

  • What do you reach for daily

  • What can be stored away

  • What needs to be visible vs tucked out of sight

Create simple “zones” based on how you actually live, not how you think it should look.

Step #3

Set It Up to Last

Only now do you organize.

  • Use what you already have first

  • Add storage only where it supports your system

  • Keep it simple enough to maintain on your busiest days

If it’s too complicated, it won’t last.

Note To Self

A reset is not about having less. It is about making space for what matters.
